Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Musa arrived in Midian exhausted, alone, and without security, but he still helped two women who were struggling at the well. His sincere service, modesty, and trustworthiness opened the way to a home, marriage, and work. The khateeb connected this lesson to other stories of people putting others first. We should keep asking Allah for help while looking for chances to serve people who are struggling, because a small sincere deed may become the door through which Allah answers our prayers.

  1. Who might need help around us even if they do not ask loudly?
  2. How can we make our du'a and our actions work together?
