True faith changes how we live

“They rely on Allah azza wa jal.”

The khateeb, at 9:30

True faith is recognized not by claiming belief but by its effects: awe before the Quran, reliance on Allah, focused prayer, disciplined speech, charity, chastity, trustworthiness, and perseverance toward al-Firdaus.

Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah asks us to look beyond saying we believe and notice whether faith is changing our hearts and actions. True believers respond to the Quran, rely on Allah, pray with attention, give from what Allah provides, guard their speech and private lives, and honor trusts and promises. These habits are signs of faith, not separate from it. The speaker encouraged us to protect our salah and ask Allah for al-Firdaus, the highest part of Paradise.
