For the dinner table

Today we learned from Prophet Ibrahim’s conversation with people who worshipped the stars, moon, and sun. He showed that created things change and disappear, while Allah is the constant Creator and the only One worthy of worship. Ibrahim stayed firm even when his people tried to frighten him, teaching us to place our deepest fear and trust in Allah. The khateeb asked us to study the Qur’an and build strong faith in ourselves, our families, and our community. Faith should remain free from associating partners with Allah and from wrongdoing, because that brings safety and guidance.
