For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that Allah has honored every child of Adam, so we should treat ourselves and others with dignity. Our faith gives us strength through prayer, especially Fajr and Tahajjud, and through staying close to the Qur'an. We represent Islam through everyday goodness: helping neighbors, serving our communities, and standing up for people's dignity. We should also enter and leave relationships, jobs, and conversations with honesty, respect, and grace. In every setting, we are called to be trustworthy ambassadors of Islam.

  1. What helps you stay steady when people around you make different choices?
  2. How can we leave a difficult situation with respect and grace?
