The khutbah taught that good character should be shaped by the Prophet Muhammad’s example. That character includes honesty, responsibility, cleanliness, patience, compassion, and respect for people, animals, parents, and the environment. The Prophet showed that true strength includes caring for children, grieving with love, and refusing to answer insults with anger. We were also reminded to worship Allah sincerely because He is worthy of worship, while continuing to ask Him for Paradise and protection from the Fire.
