Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah taught that human beings can do great good or great harm, so faith is meant to guide our freedom and power. A blessing is also a test: we should care for what Allah gives us and use it well, while meeting what we lack with patience. Guidance itself is a gift, so we should ask Allah to strengthen our faith rather than take it for granted. The speaker connected true religious practice with humility and good character, warning that religion must never be used to feed arrogance or violence. He ended by asking Allah for goodness in both lives, protection, and help for oppressed people.
