For the dinner table

Today's khutbah taught that loving Prophet Muhammad is more than believing that he lived; it means knowing his life, valuing his love for us, and following his example. The Prophet endured orphanhood, rejection, persecution, boycott, and loss, yet he remained trustworthy, patient, merciful, and committed to guiding people to Allah. When he returned to Makkah with power, he forgave those who had harmed him, showing that strength should be joined with mercy. We can grow in love by studying his seerah, practicing his Sunnah and character, learning and sharing sound teachings, and sending salawat every day. The khutbah closed by asking Allah to unite us with the Prophet in Paradise and help oppressed Muslims, including those in Palestine.
