Celebrate the Prophet by serving others
“Make a positive change not only for you but for everyone around you.”
True celebration of Prophet Muhammad means steadfastly following his example through respect, moral character, service, mercy, forgiveness, and justice.
The khutbah in 6 steps

In the khateeb's words
“Make a positive change Not only for you But for everyone around you Make a difference Show your impact Put your feet and your traces in this world”
“Don't settle with your own small cluster Think global Don't say As long as I'm good My family I don't care about my next house”
For the dinner table
The khutbah taught that loving and celebrating Prophet Muhammad means more than gatherings or praise; it means steady obedience, good character, and respectful conduct. We were urged to help people, serve our community, forgive others, and follow the Prophet’s example of mercy, generosity, humility, and patience. Because our time is limited, we should list our duties, set priorities, and spend our energy on deeds that benefit others and continue after we are gone. The imam also asked us to care about suffering people around the world, especially in Gaza and Palestine, through prayer, help, and commitment to justice and peace. At home, we can make this message real through one useful act, one act of forgiveness, and one regular habit of service.
- What is one way our family can help someone this week?
- Which important duty should get more of your time?
- What does forgiving someone look like while still making wise choices?
