For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that Allah gave us the example of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, as a light amid pain, injustice, and darkness. His mercy reached children, strangers, animals, and even a grieving tree, and he treated people with patience instead of harshness. He carried enormous burdens without allowing his pain to fall upon those around him. Loving him is more than a feeling; it means learning his character and showing compassion in our homes and communities. The khateeb encouraged us to revive this relationship, send blessings upon him, and become people whose mercy gives others hope.
