For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that following Allah can sometimes make us feel different, and that staying faithful takes patience and courage. Our worth comes from taqwa, being mindful of Allah, rather than money or family status. The khateeb also reminded us that faith should show in how we treat people: spreading peace, protecting their trust, and maintaining family ties. Caring for others includes helping people get food and looking beyond our own household. We can ask Allah for strength through prayer and take small, real steps toward a kinder community.
