The khateeb reminded us that science and human reasoning can discover much, but they cannot answer every question, especially what happens after death or how we should worship our Creator. Allah sent prophets and messengers to guide people to truth, worship Allah alone, and avoid false gods, including anything that distracts us from our duty to Him. The prophets were human beings chosen by Allah, and Muhammad was the final and highest of them. Being part of his ummah is a great honor, but it comes with responsibility: follow his example, encourage good, and resist wrong.

  1. What is one good habit that helps you remember Allah during a busy day?
  2. When can work, money, or even family become a distraction from our duties?
  3. What is one way our family can encourage good this week?
