For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminds us that love for Allah and His Messenger should guide our biggest priorities. The Prophet’s life was purposeful: he worshiped, taught, cared for people, visited the sick, helped the vulnerable, and served his family. He was also honest in business and warned strongly against deceiving others. We are encouraged to follow his Sunnah in ordinary life, including regular fasting and prayer. We can begin by choosing one Sunnah and one act of service to practice consistently.

  1. How could our family serve someone who is sick, needy, or overlooked?
  2. Which Sunnah practice would you like to learn more about and try?
