For the dinner table

The khutbah says that Allah's love is a high rank that requires effort, not merely wishes. We can look for signs of that love when good becomes easier and evil is blocked from us. The speaker highlights worshipping Allah alone, honoring our mother and father, thanking Allah in every circumstance, and asking Him for protection from harm. We should also choose friends who encourage good conduct and support us in doing what is right. When our intentions are sincere, we should trust Allah's mercy and help.
