The khutbah teaches that the sacred signs of Allah are not empty symbols; they are acts, places, times, and words that point our hearts back to Him. Salah, fasting, Hajj, the Ka'bah, Safa and Marwa, and the takbirat should be approached with respect and awareness, not as motions we rush through. The story of Hajar reminds us to trust Allah while still making an effort, and the family of Ibrahim reminds us to submit to Allah and speak the truth even under pressure. We were encouraged to use the remaining days of Dhul Hijjah well, fast on Arafah if able, make dua, and improve our worship without judging others. The janazah also reminded us that our lives return to Allah, so true happiness is found by turning to Him.

  1. Which act of worship helps you remember Allah most deeply, and how can you give it more attention?
  2. What is one truthful thing you could say or do kindly when people around you are under pressure?
  3. How can our family prepare for fasting and making dua on Arafah?
