For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that the Prophet cared deeply for his ummah and prayed for us. When life changes or technology feels overwhelming, we should keep Allah at the center and hold firmly to the Prophet’s Sunnah. The story of Zakariya teaches us not to lose hope when a good prayer takes a long time. We should treat our religion, bodies, families, work, and possessions as trusts, protecting them with truthfulness, good manners, and halal choices. The message is to live with faith and integrity wherever we are.

  2. What trust has Allah placed in you that you can take better care of this week?
  3. When is it hardest to tell the truth or show good manners, and what could help?
