Faith means living by Quran and Sunnah

“Implement what we learn from the Quran into our lives.”

The khateeb, at 36:18

True faith requires wholehearted submission to the Prophet's Sunnah, expressed by teaching love for him, making compassionate dua, and living daily with the Quran.

For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that loving Allah and Islam also means accepting the Prophet’s Sunnah as a guide, especially when we face disagreements. We were encouraged to learn how deeply the Prophet cared for his Ummah and to help our children know him as more than a name in a textbook. His concern included saving his special accepted dua to intercede for his followers, which calls us to become less selfish and remember others in our own duas. The khateeb urged us to make the Quran a daily companion, not something we visit only in Ramadan or on special occasions. We show that companionship by putting its teachings into practice.

  1. What is one story about the Prophet you would like to learn and share with us?
  2. Who is someone we can remember in dua this week, and what can we ask Allah for them?
  3. What small Quran habit could our family practice each day?
