For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us to stay humble and keep turning to Allah. When we make mistakes, we should seek His forgiveness and return to Him rather than lose hope in His mercy. The khateeb encouraged us to notice our many blessings and practice gratitude, even when life is difficult. He reminded us that Allah knows our situation and that we do not always understand what will be best for us. Humility also means treating others with respect, avoiding mockery, and using what Allah has given us to help people beyond our own family.
