The khutbah taught that every person is moving toward one of two paths: Yusr, the path of ease and Paradise, or Usr, the path of hardship and loss. Giving is not limited to money; it also includes working honestly, welcoming others, serving guests, and sharing what we have. When people help us, we can repay them by making dua for them, speaking well of them, and protecting their honor. The road to Paradise may be difficult, but generosity and sacrifice lead to a good end.
