For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that good manners are a central expression of faith, not merely a matter of politeness. We show them by working responsibly, helping others, honoring debts, apologizing for harm, and treating our families well. Our relationships reveal what is really in our hearts, so small acts such as smiling or helping can carry great value. We should avoid arguments and lies, remain patient, and treat people as we hope they will treat us. Anyone with strength, wealth, or status should use it to protect weaker people rather than harm them.
