For the dinner table

The khutbah taught that love for Allah is more than a claim: we demonstrate it by following the example of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Knowing his life helps us love him, and that love makes obedience more natural. His seerah speaks to every stage of life because he experienced grief, uncertainty, rejection, change, and responsibility while continuing to care for others. He showed that painful emotions are real, but they do not excuse treating other people harshly. His smiles, service, resilience, and mercy teach us how to worship Allah not only through rituals, but also through our feelings and everyday relationships.

  1. What is one Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that you would like our family to practice more?
  2. When you feel stressed or upset, what could help you avoid passing that stress to someone else?
  3. Who could our family serve or encourage this week?
